Abstract

TTales are a literary genre that contains the cultural treasure and way of life of peoples, entertains, makes them think while having fun, and does not aim to make you believe. The language, cultural structure and lifestyle of societies are transferred from generation to generation through fairy tales. The tales, which were spread verbally at first, are later recorded and written down. The tales, which play an important role in creating the national memory of the peoples, serve as a bridge in transferring the language and culture to the future.
The tales It spreads around the world with mass movements and becomes variant, and it deals with concepts such as goodness, evil… through beings without being tied to reality. Tales develop within the framework of material and spiritual value judgments and gain a universal quality for all humanity. For this reason, it is possible to see tales with the same subject and motifs with different hero names among regions and nations.
Although Kyrgyz and Anatolian Turks belong to the same cultural circle, there are some differences in the lifestyles of both peoples due to mass migrations over time. As Turks migrated from east to west, they interacted with the geographies and cultures they lived in, which had an impact on their traditional lifestyles and social lives. The clearest examples of these changes are revealed in the Kyrgyz and Anatolian fairy tale texts. In this study, the geographical life and social life of both peoples will be examined based on the Kyrgyz animal tales and Anatolian animal tales. Example sentences will be given about how the nomadic life, which is the traditional life style of the Turks, changed spatially with the migrations. By determining the natural spaces and artificial spaces in the fairy tale texts. Obtained findings will be evaluated comparatively.
